Katie Deal
Katie is an illustrator and educator. She grew up in Northern Virginia and studied her passion, Illustration, at Virginia Commonwealth University. After her graduation she worked as a graphic designer at a local Virginia publishing company for two years.
During the COVID pandemic she went back to school to follow her second passion, art education. She graduated from George Mason University with a Masters of Art Teaching in 2022.
She believes that art can grow and develop children in ways you could never imagine! Art can mold students into the better people of tomorrow.
When she is not illustrating or teaching she loves swing dancing, antique restoration, writing, and playing her concertina! She currently resides in Penobscot, Maine.
